There are many refineries in Shandong – which ones are of better quality?
Some have been acquired by Sinochem, some by CNPC, and CNOOC is also making acquisitions; most of them are in good condition. The efficiency is even better than that of state-owned refineries.
Dongming Petrochemical is good; they undertake large-scale projects and offer decent benefits
The local refineries in Dongying, Binzhou, and Zibo are all good, with decent compensation packages as well. However, it’s not easy to make a living in the local refining industry this year.
There are numerous local refineries in Shandong, and their expansion has been rapid in recent years; companies such as Qiwanda, Luqing, Dongming, and Qirun have all seen significant development. Currently, many new projects are under consideration in the Dongying Port Development Zone. Personally, I think the local refining industry in Shandong will eventually become a market characterized by competition over raw materials. At present, aromatization seems to be the best option, as there is a considerable surplus of raw materials available.
