You must have corresponding operating procedures! The biggest difference between steam and nitrogen is that one is expensive and the other is cheap! The effects are the same
Before introducing the gas, purge it with steam, and then introduce the gas directly. When lighting the permanent flame, drain any water first. This method is suitable for short-term operations, as after steam purging the pipeline is not cold, contains little water, and no oxygen. If the gas is introduced without ignition, it is recommended to replace it with nitrogen to avoid too much water. However, this may make it difficult to ignite the burner due to the high amount of nitrogen in the gas.
