What is the function of the air extractor installed in the back pressure steam turbine gas seal leakage? ? ?
This post was last edited by leteblink on 2010-3-29 17:38. I misread it and thought it was a gas condensation type. The condensing type needs to extract non-condensable gas to maintain a vacuum. Does the back pressure type also need to extract stable pressure?

The main purpose is to maintain a slight negative pressure in the steam pipeline where the shaft seal is leaking to prevent the shaft seal steam from leaking from the shaft seal, thereby preventing the leaked steam from entering the lubricating oil and causing the lubricating oil to emulsify.
