Which friend knows how to apply the topcoat to desulfurization equipment and gas pipelines, and how many layers are needed?
In indoor areas with low corrosivity, polyurethane paint can be used; two coats are sufficient
On the outdoor pipes, the topcoat on the equipment started to peel off after less than a year. I’d like to do it again; how can I make it last longer?

Thank you all for your help. I also have a question: can I apply the paint directly using a roller? It still has to be brushed, or spraying is also an option.
The desulfurization system equipment at Yanshan Petrochemical Power Plant uses an epoxy rust-primer applied in 2 coats, with a thickness of 80 um, along with a modified vinyl chloride topcoat applied in 2 coats, also with a thickness of 80 um. The results are quite good; there has been little to no damage to this equipment since 2007, so it can serve as a useful example to follow
The topcoat is determined based on the main purpose of the equipment and the location where it will be used. Typically, we apply 2 coats of iron red epoxy primer, followed by 2 coats of chlorosulfonated topcoat (or 2 coats of polyurethane enamel/2 coats of acrylic polyurethane). For equipment buried in concrete, we have also used Xianghe’s 211/310 products. For the external protection of current equipment, we generally use manual painting, which is cost-effective; however, the coating is not uniform. Rollers are used for applying the coating, while brushes are used for specific areas.
