What are the water consumption amounts for cooling water, respectively, from 50% liquid caustic to 99% solid caustic and from 50% liquid caustic to 73% solid caustic? # hcbbs
The cooling water used in caustic soda production machines is generally recycled water, but it is preferable to use pure water to reduce scaling on the equipment, which could otherwise lead to a higher temperature of the caustic soda and cause bag scalding
Circulating water is generally used. Taking an annual production of 50,000 tons of caustic soda as an example, the designed temperature is 32°C at the inlet and 42°C at the outlet, with a cooling water volume of around 80 cubic meters per hour.
Use soft water, and **install a circulating water cooling system that adds demineralized water or soft water according to the amount of evaporation; this helps reduce water consumption while preventing scaling.
Pure water is the best choice; use circulating water with a heat exchanger, control the water inlet temperature at 24 degrees Celsius, and maintain a temperature difference of around 8 degrees
Fifth floor is supported. Pure water is used for the hub cooling water. Pure water is pumped from the pure water tank, via a pure water pump, into the heat exchanger (where circulating water is used to cool the pure water). After the water temperature is adjusted, it enters the rotor hub; once the rotor hub has been cooled, the water is returned to the pure water tank, thus forming a cycle. For temperature control, our company maintains the inlet water temperature at 41°C and the return water temperature at 49°C; if the temperature is any higher, it is possible for the inner bags in the packaging to get damaged due to overheating.
