What is the CAT activity of the AMOMAX-10 model?
The Amomax-10 type (oxidized form) and Amomax-10H type (pre-reduced form) ammonia synthesis catalysts are new types of ammonia synthesis catalysts developed in China. They represent significant new scientific and technological achievements resulting from the continuous research and innovation in ferrous oxide-based ammonia synthesis catalysts, carried out by Panjin Nanfang Chemical Liaohe Catalyst Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang University of Technology under a \"patent technology licensing agreement\". It is primarily focused on addressing the issues encountered in the market application of Fe1-xO-based ammonia synthesis catalysts, such as high activity but rapid degradation, susceptibility to reduction, fast water release, a narrow range of suitable water temperature levels, incompatibility with existing factory process equipment, and difficulty in controlling water vapor concentration during heating and reduction processes. This project uses Fe1-xO as the main phase, incorporates new additives that have no precedent domestically or internationally, and employs arc furnace melting for the first time. An appropriate production process for Fe1-xO-based catalysts was developed, enabling the uniform dispersion and solid solution incorporation of additives in the matrix phase; these additives serve both as electron-type and structure-type agents. After reduction, the resulting microstructure is a (α+f) multiphase porous alloy. Within the reduction temperature range, the microcrystals do not grow larger; their size remains uniform, and they maintain a high degree of distortion as well as a low activation energy. Significant improvements have been made in its low-temperature high activity, excellent toxicity resistance, and heat stability. In particular, Amomax-10H, which is produced through a specific pre-reduction process from Amomax-10, is easy to activate and has a low activation temperature; this process **reduces the emission of low-concentration ammonia water**. It is a new type of environmentally friendly ammonia synthesis catalyst that features high activity at low temperatures (and low pressures), as well as energy-saving and emission-reduction properties over a wide temperature range. In industrial applications, such as at the Hubei Zhijiang Fertilizer Plant, with the Topsoe S-200 tower type, 50 tons of Amomax-10H catalyst are used in the upper layer and 136.5 tons of Amomax-10 catalyst in the lower layer; the total reduction time is 70 hours, whereas with A110-1/H the total reduction time is 135 hours. Another example is the Second Fertilizer Plant of Sichuan Chemical Industry Complex, where 126.6 tons of Amomax-10H catalyst were installed in all the axial radial tower columns of Unit 3, with a total activation time of around 30 hours. Currently, the Amomax-10/10H catalyst has been applied in 37 fertilizer plants in China, of which 21 produce large-scale fertilizers with an annual output of over 300,000 tons. The Liaohe Fertilizer Plant, which was put into operation for the first time, has been in use for four years since then and is operating stably. The above is an excerpt; it hasn’t been used yet. We plan to use the A110
It works well; that’s exactly what we use.
