No one knows the detailed process of hydrolysis with diamine. Currently, hydrolysis is carried out using 4 distillation towers in series; the yield is not very good and it is prone to fluctuations. Also, what are the specific advantages of using several columns in series for distillation operations? I’m thinking whether connecting two towers in series or in parallel could result in a higher production rate. But I’m not very clear about the hydrolysis mechanism of homocyanamide. Is there anyone who is familiar with this topic or can provide some information? Thank you!
