Rod means a bar or rod-shaped piece of material. ------------------------------------------- After consulting professionals, it was learned that improved-bond rods refer to rods with enhanced adhesion properties (reinforcing bars), and they are considered steel products for construction use. The Chinese name for the French standard NF A35-052-1987 is: Steel products – Unalloyed steel wires for welded wire meshes and wires with improved adhesion. The French name is: Fil-machine en acier non allié pour treillis soudés et fils à haute adhérence; where “adhérence” means adhesion or sticking power. It can be concluded that improved-bond was created by someone whose native language is not English.
