Technical assistance: Water intake issue for fire pump

Some small pumps are unable to draw water in through the suction pipe equipped with a foot valve; removing the foot valve solves this issue, but it becomes impossible to fill the pump by using water introduced through that foot valve. What can that boss do! ! ! !
The simplest way is to install a self-priming tank.
The fire suppression system needs to be activated quickly, and this functionality must be taken into account during design. Control the installation height properly.
Well, a water intake tank should be installed on the suction pipeline, making sure that the water level difference meets the actual requirements
If the pump is in a low position, it seems that this kind of problem doesn’t occur very often. Moreover, fire pumps generally keep running; they don’t stop unless there are special circumstances, so there’s no need to start them frequently
