Question: What software is used for the design of split cylinders? If SW98 is used, what are the differences between the stress calculation for the connections of split cylinders and that for container connections, given that the distances between these connections are relatively short? Also, how should the spacing between the connections be entered? How should the distance be filled in for the first takeover?
It is completely possible to use SW6 for the calculation. Only, the spacing between pipes must not be too small; it should meet the requirements of GB150. If the 150 requirement cannot be met, joint reinforcement can be carried out.
