Should a manual valve or a pressure control valve be used for the discharge of medium-pressure superheated steam from the steam superheater? In my opinion, using a pressure control valve is more convenient and allows for more precise adjustment. Using a manual valve for control results in insufficient precision and makes the operation rather cumbersome.
Steam pressure regulation is frequent and requires high precision. It is even more urgent and important in an accident situation. Of course, it is necessary to select a master pressure control valve.
Pressure self-regulating valves are better – they’re convenient!
