When is it necessary to use forced lubrication for the drive motor of a centrifugal pump? Is forced lubrication necessary for high-power motors? Are there any standard specifications regarding the forced lubrication of motors? I heard that there are regulations stipulating that pumps or motors with high power and high speed require forced lubrication, but I couldn’t find any relevant standards or provisions? Personally, I think motor bearings with a capacity of over 2000 KW generally require forced lubrication. I’m just not sure at the moment which standard specifies this requirement; I’m sorry about that.
High-voltage motors generally use sliding bearings, which require forced lubrication and are equipped with an oil dilution station.
