During the initial startup of the unit, why is it necessary to activate the bypass line of the control valve during the oil circulation phase at startup? Can’t the control valve regulate on its own? How to adjust the control valve when a bypass line is used? Since the resistance in the bypass line is low, won’t all the fluid flow through it?
When the unit was first put into operation, there was a lot of slag and sediment in the pipelines. Although water circulation was in place, it wasn’t thorough enough. During the oil introduction process, if control valves were used, they would get clogged. Of course, there are flow meters on the bypass lines, so the oil flows through those first.
