The main method nowadays is the ethylene oxidation process. I’ve heard for the first time that propylene can be oxidized using hydrogen peroxide – isn’t that costly?

The TS-1 catalyst is used, at 40-60 degrees, 30 Kg, along with propylene and hydrogen peroxide. I heard from a junior recently that it seems to be in use, hehe
