Hello everyone. Our factory uses the tannin-based method for desulfurization, and a jacketed sulfur melting tank is used for adding sulfur. The internal structure of this tank isn’t very clear; if anyone knows the specific details regarding its interior, please send me a picture: zhu*nguo88@qq.com. I would also like to ask: 1. How can one determine whether the discharged residual liquid is of acceptable quality? 2. What is the optimal temperature for discharging the residual liquid, and what should be the controlled temperature for sulfur melting? 3. Is it better to recover as much residual liquid as possible, or is there an optimal amount to recover? 4. From an operational perspective, how can sulfur production be increased to the best possible level?
1. How to determine whether the discharged residual liquid is qualified: suspended sulfur level should be within 0.8 g/L, as determined by the iodimetry method; 2. What is the optimal temperature for discharging the residual liquid, and what should be the control temperature for sulfur melting? Under the aforementioned conditions, the lower the temperature, the better ; 3. Is it better to recover as much of the residual liquid as possible, or what is the most reasonable amount to recover? It’s best to recover all of it ; 4. How can sulfur production be improved from an operational perspective to achieve the best results: minimize sulfur content in the discharged liquid and reduce slag discharge ; If your company uses an internal fractional sulfur melting furnace, the above problems will not occur.
