It’s so frustrating; I can’t ask either. I hid those files, so how did they disappear?
In the future, set a password or something for the technology folder. . . Such things are rather taboo in the company.

In most cases, this is just the poster’s suspicion. Unless your colleague is stupid, it’s one thing if he steals your technical documents, but why would he also delete them? He just knows that you haven’t backed up your important things? Often, we come across strange situations and start to suspect others, only to realize later that it was actually our own mistake.
Think about it again; maybe you’ll remember. It might not be a problem with your colleague; it’s your own problem. Check yourself first, and then look for other causes. I tend to make consciousness-lacking mistakes easily; I’m the same. :)
Use advanced search to check the entire disk, so as to avoid misunderstanding your friend.
Try using the file_recovery software to recover it!!
Maybe you didn’t find it yourself or deleted it earlier.
