If a new type of heat exchanger is developed, experiments are needed to verify its heat transfer efficiency, by measuring temperatures at various points inside it and comparing these values with the results obtained from thermal calculation software. I wonder what methods exist to measure the temperature at multiple points without disrupting the fluid state?
Is it feasible to weld fine thermocouple wires to the tube surface to measure wall temperature?
