Can stainless steel 304 pipes be used for 1.0MPA steam pipelines?
It’s fine to use carbon steel pipes directly; using stainless steel would be a waste. In our company, we use spiral-welded carbon steel pipes for steam pipes with a pressure of 10 kilograms
It is possible, but it has to be PN16.
It’s definitely possible, but it’s too wasteful; using 20# steel pipes will suffice. The heat tracing pipes used in chemical plants can handle pressures of up to 1 MPA, so 4-inch or 6-inch pipes will work just fine.
Well, of course it can be used, but it’s such a waste; I don’t see any need for it. Check the chemical processing manual for the required temperature and pressure
It’s such a waste. I don’t seem to have ever seen anyone use stainless steel pipes on steam pipelines; maybe I’m just uninformed. Hehe
Except in some special industries, using stainless steel pipes to transport steam is somewhat wasteful.
