The company’s old 10kv switches need to be replaced. I’m not sure how to choose the right model, what requirements to put forward to the supplier, which brand to select, and what the price will be Could that master give some advice? Our company uses a 10kV incoming line that is converted to 400V; previously, vacuum circuit breakers of the ZNL2-10 type manufactured in Beijing were used, with a rated voltage of 10KV and a rated current of 1250A. Use KYN28-12 switchgear; circuit breakers of the VS1 brand from Baoguang can be used. The switchgear itself doesn’t require a specific manufacturer – local manufacturers are often preferred. It seems that you can’t use products from other manufacturers. For comprehensive protection systems, there are many domestic manufacturers such as Nanzhi, NARI, Sifang, Xujie, as well as newer companies like Tianzheng, Mingri, Shangji, and so on. The prices aren’t high either – each unit costs around 10,000 yuan.
For the cabinet type, an internal-mounted cabinet is chosen; the vacuum circuit breaker needs to be determined. In environments with harsh conditions, a solid-insulated vacuum circuit breaker can be used – Vs1 is generally a good choice. As for the vacuum tubes, those from Baoguang brand are recommended as they have a low leakage rate. For other protective devices, ordinary ones will suffice; they’re all more or less the same as long as they function stably

It depends on how much money you have and what level you’re looking for If the budget permits, it is recommended to purchase ABB’s ZS1 cabinet along with ABB’s VD4 switches. An equivalent option is Siemens’ 8BK20 cabinet equipped with 3AH switches, but the latter is not as widely used in China as the former. If the budget is not too tight, buy domestic brands. The cabinet type is KYN28-12, and the circuit breaker selected is VS1 (VD4 can also be used, of course). They are all imitations of ABB’s products, but domestic technology has also reached a high level, so there’s no major issue. Comprehensive protection systems are also divided into two categories; those for imports include brands such as GE, Siemens, ABB, Alstom, SEL, etc., and they are relatively expensive. Domestic brands such as NARI Protection & Control, NARI Electric, Sifang, and XJ are all excellent, and their user interfaces are very user-friendly. The price is also relatively not expensive. Given the small quantity, only 2 units in total, the cost of an ABB cabinet is estimated to be around 100,000 yuan (including circuit breakers), while domestic switchgear costs about 70,000–80,000 yuan (including circuit breakers). Import protection is around 30,000; domestic protection should be less than 20,000!
