Acidic water stripping tower

Some time ago, the old stripping tower was overhauled. After it was put back into operation, abnormal conditions occurred! The pressure difference inside the tower is high, and the processing capacity cannot be increased; once the amount of purified water exceeds 40 t/h, it cannot be discharged! I searched many places but couldn’t find the reason! It’s probably blocked at the place where the purified water is drawn out! I hope fellow sailors can discuss where these problems usually occur
If the purified water cannot be delivered, is it because the set point of the tower liquid level control valve is too low? As a result, the valve does not reach 100% opening – meaning it is fully open inside, but only slightly open outside. Either the heat exchanger or the air-cooling tubes are blocked.
First, check whether the raw water contains oil before modifying the trays. Let’s see how it works

We have identified the cause here: it’s a blockage in the heat exchanger section for raw water and purified water. Lately, I’ve just kept its side stream at a low level – that’s enough! But it can’t be set too high, as that can easily cause water hammer! There’s no choice but to wait for work to stop so that the heat exchanger can be cleaned! ....
