Interface issues with the instrument

May I ask if the current instruments have Ethernet interfaces? Can industrial Ethernet be used in the chemical industry for control and monitoring purposes? Thank you!
It’s possible, but rare. The digital interfaces used in industrial instruments should be of industrial standard.
The instrument itself does not seem to have an Ethernet interface. Typically, the signals from the instrument are sent to the DCS or PLC in a conventional manner, and from there, the DCS or PLC transmits them over the network to other locations. Industrial Ethernet networks can be used in the chemical industry for control and monitoring purposes.
Most of the signals are HART protocol or Brown protocol
There are many with direct fieldbus interfaces, such as PA, DP, etc.; those with Ethernet seem to be rare. . .
