Let’s discuss the cheapest and simplest ways to avoid the problem of pipeline collisions between different specialties. I had to revise the piping design several times; it drove me crazy.

When it comes to conflicts between different specialties, you need to be extra careful during the drawing review process; carefully check the parts that are closely related to your own specialty. Additionally, you must fulfill the responsibilities of the leading specialty and coordinate the resolution of issues arising among the other specialties.
It is only necessary to avoid conflicts at different elevations; by coordinating with other disciplines regarding these elevations, and if the heights vary, dividing the structure into multiple floors naturally makes it less likely to occur collisions.

It’s best to use 3D software for one-person fitting!
First, you need to sort through all the pipelines; that is, the table detailing the conditions of the outer pipes must be completed. Then, determine the initial route for these pipelines. After that, organize the pipelines by layer, and it’s best to take diagrams of each cross-section to check whether everything is consistent. This way, it’s easy to see if there are any collisions. Creating 3D models is quite complicated and not easy to do; simply improving one’s spatial imagination will suffice
3D models, PDMS, PDS, pdsoft, etc. – these seem to be the most convenient and fastest options at the moment
