What controls are used in CAD for instrument drawing design?

I’ve recently started working on a chemical engineering project, where my responsibilities include instrument installation, wiring, and drawing of diagrams. Although there aren’t many circuits in this system, there is no basic documentation available. I’m supposed to create drawings using AUTOCAD, based on process diagrams, instrument wiring diagrams, and on-site installation diagrams for the instruments. But I really don’t know where to start with CAD. Are there any CAD tools or pre-made templates related to instruments? Or are there simple methods for drawing such diagrams using CAD? Thank you!

Templates are created in accordance with standards. If a company doesn’t have any templates, there are two options: either purchase them from the source where those standards come from, which is certainly not cheap, or draw them manually by following the examples and proportions provided in those standards. . What is drawn is the template. . There’s not much else to say. The built-in controls aren’t very useful; anything useful has to be written by myself. If you want to use controls, you need to learn more about CAD 2nd development and write them yourself. It’s not that difficult, but it does take time. . After all, learning a language and mastering it is not an easy task
Special types of gauge controls can be developed in-house or use those released by third parties.

If others only give you one steamed bun, you won’t get fat; consider other people’s suggestions and take action to provide for yourself. Besides, there are some things that others simply can’t or don’t want to share
For CAD drawing, templates are needed; in other words, pre-made examples created by others, which are not easy to come by. One must make an effort on their own.
