Help: Regarding the installation of steam traps during steam purging?

1> I reviewed the purging plan prepared by the construction contractor today: I noticed two contradictory statements – “During steam purging to warm the pipes, drain valves must be used for drainage” and “The drain valves for each section of pipe should be installed after the piping has been purged.” It’s unclear whether they should be installed or not 2> What are the respective functions of the steam extractor and the silencer during the purging process (other than reducing noise pollution)? Those who know it, please give an answer. Thank you.
A start-up drain valve should be installed at the trap location; this valve must be activated during pipe heating. Once the pipes have been cleaned, the proper drain valve can then be installed, to prevent the drain valve from becoming clogged by dirt during startup

A drain check valve should be used before the trap; it is best to install a Y-filter in front of the trap as well
During the process of warming up the pipes, it is sufficient to use the bypass around the drain valve; this is what is done in actual operations, as at the beginning the water flow is high and the water may be quite dirty, so using a bypass is better.
