The header generally does not need to be replaced; it’s usually the pipes that tend to develop problems. Is there an issue with the header in your case?
Some time ago, a 2-cm crack appeared in the joint box; that section was cut off and a new section of pipe was welded in its place.

Do you mean local replacement by digging out the cracks and then welding them back? I wonder what specific parameters your boiler uses? If it is at normal or low pressure, as long as the welds are properly treated, there are generally no major issues
There’s another issue: if I replace the left header, the vertical position of the header may rise due to wear of the water wall tubes during the replacement. What are the potential risks in this situation, and why doesn’t it pass the inspection?
