In my routine maintenance work over the past few years, I have encountered such a problem: the temperature displayed on the CS3000 control station differed from the actual temperature by several degrees to over a dozen degrees. No issues were found, neither in the thermal resistors at the site nor in the temperature sensor cards; however, the temperature returned to normal after the terminals on the cards were removed and reconnected. Multiple expert-level specialists were consulted, and the cause was explained as terminal rust and loose connections. But when dealing with the issue, I definitely didn’t notice that this was the cause, and I have encountered similar situations many times before, resolving them in the same way. I was wondering if any of my colleagues who maintain this system have encountered similar problems. Thank you.
I’ve encountered that too; in my opinion, it’s either due to a hardware failure or a program crash, and as a result of changes in the signal at the site, the display still shows only one value.
Use a resistance box to calibrate the card at the terminal.
A calibrated resistance box was also used, and no issues were found with the card holder. It worked fine again after reconnecting the wires.
Repress the nose of the wire and then reconnect it; If that doesn’t work, try another channel; maybe there’s an issue with this one.
There may be a problem with the channel. We have encountered that too ; The traffic is connected to BUS1 ; The instructions remain the same; once you reach BUS2, it’s fine

If not, then it’s a problem with the DCS cards; if the DCS is working fine, then the issue lies in the connection between the field equipment and the DCS. If this problem occurs everywhere, it’s likely that there is corrosion in the intermediate junction boxes, water intrusion, or issues with the cables.

It seems that in 8# ldym, the connection is loose, or the wire end has been broken in half by the wiring screw
It’s not a problem with the resistance channels in the DCS; it’s due to poor grounding in the DCS. Connect a 104P surface-mount capacitor to the main and auxiliary lines, and then connect it to ground.
Personally, I think the connection terminals have oxidized. When measuring temperature, high resistance values are often required; if the terminals are oxidized or the connection screws are loose, it’s easy to encounter inaccurate temperature readings. You can remove the terminals, use a blade to scrape off the ends of the wires, and then reconnect them. Additionally, the connection screws tend to loosen during seasonal changes, and in most cases, tightening them is sufficient
