The title of my graduation thesis is: Design of a 1000m3 above-ground horizontal diesel storage tank. How should the design pressure and calculated pressure be determined? Thank you
Since it is a atmospheric pressure storage tank, vertical types are more commonly chosen. Refer to the tolerance specifications.
The design pressure is usually at atmospheric pressure; if it’s a vertical setup, I can also tell you the wall thickness – using too much thickness in this case isn’t necessary
