Can pipe fittings be connected directly without using short pipes, such as tees and valves?
Looking at your design, if it’s not necessary, why add it at all? The design must – can you really save money?! ?
If the diameters of the two pipes differ significantly, it’s fine to simply make a hole in the thicker pipe
If the tee is connected directly to the valve, the distance is too short, which may affect installation and use.
It is generally not designed this way; this approach is only used when space is limited. This is not the right approach: if the valve needs to be replaced, cutting must be done on the tee or fitting, which damages the fitting ； Cutting is not done on the fittings; work is carried out on the existing welds, which affects the quality of those welds ； Too close to the pipe fittings, leaving insufficient space for operation and maintenance.
From our practical experience, it is generally required to add a short circuit, due to considerations for future maintenance and expansion at high temperatures. Of course, if space is really limited sometimes, it can be omitted.
