Is being a printing rep a job?

When it comes to learning about printing, and figuring out what methods work and which ones don’t, don’t hesitate to ask questions. Your printer and/or printing representative can become one of your best allies, helping you to achieve good results. They can also help you avoid having to rely on antacids and aspirin. What does “printing representative” mean here? Representative of printing? A representative of business or technology?

Make you look good – enhance your reputation. A radiant face is surely prettier than a gloomy one, right?:lol
Your printer and/or printing representative can.....make you look good. The subject here is a person; at first it seemed like this expression meant to give you face, but now it seems to mean it makes you feel good. This fits well with the idea that it can also keep you away from antacids and aspirin: loveliness:
make you look good = bring honor to you
A rep is a salesperson, or an agent; the terms printer and/or printing that appear earlier serve as descriptors for the rep. That is, salespeople for printing equipment and/or salespeople for printing factories. The original text says that someone studying design should learn something about printing. How can they do that? Salespeople who deal in printing equipment and those who work in the printing industry are both good choices; they can help you make progress in learning printing. In other words, you don’t need to go to a factory to learn – you can simply find an enthusiastic salesperson to assist you. Hehe, do you understand?
