They include the two internationally widely used standard series for pipe flanges, gaskets, and fasteners: the PN series (European system) and the Class series (American system). 　　HG/T20592～20614-2009 belong to the standards for pipe flanges, gaskets, and fasteners in the PN series (European system). The main changes in these new standards compared to the 1997 version are as follows: The contents of the original HG20592～20605-97 standards were integrated into HG/T20592-2009, titled “Steel Pipe Flanges (PN Series)”, and structural types of steel orifice plate pipe flanges and steel jacketed pipe flanges commonly used in the petrochemical industry were added ； 　　——HG/T20592-2009 \"Steel Pipe Flanges (PN Series)\\" removes the nominal pressure PN250, as well as the corresponding series of outer diameters for the steel pipes applicable to them ； 　　——Revise the dimensions of the sealing surface and adjust the structural dimensions as appropriate ； The surface roughness of the flange sealing surface has been revised ； 　　——Adjust the pressure class range of the plate-type butt weld flanges: PN0.25～PN40 ； 　　——The grouping of materials and the types of materials used for pipe flanges have been adjusted, with an increase in the variety of materials available ； 　　——The pressure-temperature rating table has been revised ； 　　——Reinforced flexible graphite gasket inserts are included in HG/T20606-2009, while HG20608-97 is revoked ； 　　——The gasket materials have been adjusted, with more material varieties added ； The specifications for the properties of gasket materials have been supplemented ； 　　——The fastener materials are classified by strength, and the types of fastener materials for pipe flanges are added ； The length of fasteners for pipe flanges has been revised ； Added washers for pipe flange fasteners and fasteners for insulated flange connections ； Supplementary provisions have been added regarding the selection of pipe flanges, gaskets, and fasteners, as well as the operating conditions. 　　HG/T20615～20635-2009 belong to the standards for pipe flanges, gaskets, and fasteners in the Class series (American system).
