Ear mounts are used for tower equipment

When the total height of the equipment exceeds 10m, ear seats should be installed
In the standard JB/T4712.3-2007, Appendix A on page 78 states that ear mounts are not recommended when the height-to-diameter ratio of the device is greater than 5 or the total height is greater than 10 mm. In fact, many tower equipment on site use ear seats, adopted in a multi-layered manner.
If the tower requires earthing supports and its length is relatively large, it is best to use multiple supports; however, the earthing points should be connected using tower straps, so as not to restrict the tower’s vertical movement, as thermal expansion and contraction are more pronounced in towers of greater length.
