What is the operating resistance of a 64MW chain furnace?
This post was last edited by boooiler on 2010-4-17 09:20. What is running resistance? Do you mean the smoke and air system? Is there a economizer? Is there a air preheater? What is the size of the flue gas duct behind the air preheater? How many elbows? What dust removal? Is desulfurization done?
The boiler itself is designed with a economizer and an air preheater as standard; the operating resistance refers to the main pressure loss from behind the preheater to the boiler outlet during normal operation of the boiler.
Calculations need to be based on the structure; different furnace types result in different resistances. Generally, manufacturers will provide a calculation sheet for smoke and air resistance or a summary table of such calculations, which includes the relevant information. Or when the design institute carries out the design, it conducts resistance checks, and there are relevant data available
