What is an oil field gathering and transportation station (pressurization station)? Since it is needed for my graduation project, I would appreciate it if those who are familiar with this topic could explain it to me; relevant materials would be even better.
A combined station that collects and processes the crude oil produced by various wells in an oil field, as well as the oil field gas. Oil and gas gathering and transportation projects need to be designed and constructed based on oil field development plans, the physical properties of oil and gas, product specifications, and natural conditions. The oil and gas gathering and transportation process requires that: ① the pressure from the oil wells be utilized effectively, in order to minimize the number of times pressure boosting is necessary and thus reduce energy consumption ； ②By taking into account the thermal conditions in each process step, reducing the number of repeated heating cycles, and achieving thermal balance, fuel consumption can be lowered ； ③The process is sealed to minimize oil and gas losses ； ④Fully collect and utilize oil and gas resources to produce qualified products, purify crude oil, refine field gas, liquefied gas, and natural gas, as well as treat wastewater to meet the requirements for reinjection into oil reservoirs or discharge ； ⑤Advanced technology, reasonable economy, safe and practical.
In general stations, oil and gas are only separated and heated before being transmitted to higher-level oil and gas processing stations, such as transfer stations or combined stations. The main equipment includes: ball collection cylinders, sealed separation units, heating furnaces, oil measurement separators, emergency storage tanks for operation, flow meters, gas-oil transfer pumps, etc., with a processing capacity of around 240 cubic meters per day

Intermediate pressurization is generally used only for combined station external transmission; it’s not common in gathering and transportation pipelines
