If someone’s house is robbed, are there any good solutions? Is it useful to call the police? Are there any other effective ways to recover the losses?
It seems helpless; if it’s an office dormitory, there’s also a management fee to pay every month! What can be done?
Reporting it might be a bit useful; I guess in cases like this it’s usually an insider trying to scare others off. Precautionary measures: 1) Keep dogs ； 2) Use a computer, connect a camera to it, point it at the gate, and install software (there are free options available). If there are moving objects in the frame, it will automatically capture the image and save it to the computer. (As seen on PC Enthusiast) If connected to the internet, it’s also possible to send text messages to mobile phones.

If the thief is caught later, you might be able to go and get your belongings back. By the way, upstairs: a thief came in and stole your hard drive. What’s the use of what you recorded? Ha. Or come in through the window. What’s the use of a light gate?
Would that make it easy for thieves to steal the computer as well?
Hehe, going back to floors 6 and 7 – our warehouse has been robbed several times; we’ve tried this trick. (It was used for a while, but then it became useless.) The computer was installed in the duty room (where the people on duty slept). Later, after getting a bunch of native dogs, it became unnecessary.
Call the police? It depends on the value of the lost item; if it’s not much worth, the police are unlikely to get involved. These days, even murder cases can’t always be solved, let alone ordinary theft cases.
It seems there’s no other choice; we’ll just have to wait then. Having a dog is a good idea, and it would be even better to have two!
