Definition of initial value for circulating stream in Aspen Plus

Recently, during the design of a distillation column, the reflux at the top of the column was a circulating stream (with no condenser at the column top); it was necessary to define an initial value for the reflux before the calculations could be completed. I’m a beginner and haven’t found out how to set it; I would like to ask the other forum members how to define the initial value for a circulating flow stock Thank you!
