During piping, in factories with a ceiling height of 6 to 7 meters, if there are many pipes, it is best to arrange several layers of pipes, each 2 meters or more high, on one floor.
It is reasonable for the pipeline height to be over 3 meters; 2–3 layers of pipelines can be arranged. In addition, the pipeline height and layout should be determined based on the height of the equipment on site and the actual conditions. Piping is a real art form.
It depends on how much control is needed for your pipeline; if a lot of control is required, try to prioritize ease of operation!
It’s better to have a larger spacing between the pipes. Our facility has been in operation for 30 years, and during expansions and renovations, pipes were installed everywhere; the concept of dedicated pipe racks no longer exists. People have to climb on top of these pipes, which makes maintenance and operational tasks extremely difficult.
