On October 28, the construction of Inner Mongolia Boda Field Chemistry Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1 million tons of synthetic ammonia, 1 million tons of urea, and 1.2 million tons of caustic soda was launched in the Nalinhe Chemical Industry Zone. The two chemical industry pathways based on coal have initially embarked on a new path of industrialization characterized by efficient utilization of resources, continuous development of industries, and circular economic growth; solid steps have been taken in the construction of a ** coal-based energy and chemical industry base. The groundbreaking of the projects for 1 million tons of synthetic ammonia, 1 million tons of urea, and 1.2 million tons of caustic soda represents another major project that will begin construction in our region this year. It is also a significant breakthrough for the industrial development of our region, and it will play a positive role in helping us build a world-class, largest new coal-based energy and chemical industry hub in China. The Wushen Banner Party Committee, ** and relevant departments will provide full support for the project construction and ensure smooth progress throughout the process. He said that at this very important moment, the grand groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Boda Field Chemicals project, which involves the production of 1 million tons of synthetic ammonia, 1 million tons of urea, and 1.2 million tons of caustic soda. This represents a breakthrough in the development of the Mengda base project; it is another new project driven by Boyuan Group’s industrial advantages, including its talent and technological strengths. It also marks the beginning of structural adjustments in Ordos. It is hoped that the completion and operation of this project will bring new glory to the development of the city’s chemical industry. 　　It is understood that the total investment in this project is 9.6 billion yuan, and upon completion it will generate an additional annual output value of 4.1 billion yuan as well as additional profits and taxes amounting to 1.2 billion yuan. The completion and operation of this project will not only enable the optimization and upgrading of the abundant resources in our banner, but also allow for the utilization of salt resources from neighboring areas on a local basis. The project’s long-term plan is to produce 2.4 million tons per year of soda ash, 2.4 million tons per year of ammonium chloride, 2.4 million tons per year of synthetic ammonia, 2 million tons per year of urea, and 800,000 tons per year of compound fertilizers.
