A few days ago I was on a business trip to Shandong, and it happened that the temperature dropped sharply. Unluckily, the heating system in the car broke down as well. I found a specialized shop for Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. The mechanic checked it and said that the heating radiator was clogged; he suggested trying to clear it with air, charging 20 yuan for the service, but there was no guarantee that it would be fixed. I think 20 yuan isn’t expensive; give it a try! It didn’t work; the mechanic said there was nothing he could do and that a new radiator had to be installed! I asked about the price; the original factory water tank costs 200 yuan, and the labor cost is 200 yuan, so the total is around 400 yuan. I think, since I need to replace it, I’d better go to the 4S store! More professional, insurance. Found a local 4S store, and the staff were very friendly! Upon inspection, it was found that the water tank was clogged, and a new one needed to be replaced. I asked about the price, and the staff member said the cost of materials and processing would be around 3000. Dizzy............ When I got home, I asked a friend who works at a 4S shop to replace it with a new water tank; it cost 300 yuan in total.
4S stores are completely corrupt; it turns out that China Central Television has also exposed this issue, but it seems that such behavior continues despite repeated bans.
This is completely lawless. Next time, bro, I’ll help you fix it; for tasks like this, my 5S shop usually only charges for the materials, haha.
300 yuan seems too much; it should be possible to fix it if it’s blocked! But it’s hard to find a conscientious store in China these days; try to adapt! Be careful yourself
These days, there are no standards for repair prices; merchants set exorbitant amounts, demanding high fees. The actual cost is sometimes not even 1/100 of what they ask for – that’s just the current market situation. . . . . .
It’s unfair! When will we in this country be able to do business in a way that treats everyone fairly, charging the same price whether it’s new customers or regular ones?
3# cjzhou2 Bro, where is your 5S store? I’ll turn to you if I need car repairs in the future! ;P
It’s all 7S these days; you’re still on 5S! ;P
