First, analyze the source of potassium, and then check whether there are any issues with the raw materials and packaging materials； The glass bottles used as inner packaging could also be the cause.
I produce active pharmaceutical ingredients, and there are no potassium ions in the packaging materials; samples taken before packaging after drying tested positive for excessive potassium levels! Is there a way to remove potassium ions from a sodium chloride solution?
