There are several sources of moisture in petroleum products

The amount it can dissolve in oil is determined by the chemical composition of the petroleum product and the temperature. Generally, alkanes, cycloalkanes, and olefins have a weak ability to dissolve water, while aromatic hydrocarbons can dissolve more water. The higher the temperature, the more water can dissolve in the oil. Meaningless.
