Can “external loads and manways” be translated as “external loads and manholes”? It seems there’s little connection between the two terms…

So, the poster can combine the external load with the manhole, and provide a spraying system at the manhole. There are many English terms for manholes: manhole, manway, manhead – not just man hole. I agree generally with the view expressed on the 5th floor, but the term “NPS” seems not to be appropriate in this context, as NPS refers to “American **standards”; including it here doesn’t seem right, so perhaps it should be omitted altogether
Isn’t NPS the nominal diameter? Except for pipe ends and manholes with an external load less than 4\" in nominal diameter, the flange class for all other pipe ends is class150.
