I would like to ask the teachers: when cleaning equipment such as pumps, containers, and towers, what determines whether to use water washing, steam cleaning, or nitrogen cleaning?
1. Select different purging media depending on the medium. 2. If using gasoline, first purge with water and then with steam. 3. Since lubricating oil must be free of water, it cannot be purged with steam; it is recommended to use nitrogen for purging.
When purging a mechanical pump, a cooling medium must be supplied to prevent damage to the seal.
From a safety perspective, gasoline should first be flushed with water and then purged with steam.
