It’s been a week since the disaster in Yushu. Although it wasn’t as severe as the Wenchuan disaster, the losses incurred were still considerable. In response to the call, all entertainment activities have been suspended today as a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in Yushu.

I watched the gala yesterday, and I felt just as heavy-hearted as on May 12th. The company hasn’t launched a fundraising campaign yet; I plan to gather money online in the child’s name, take some pictures, and show them to the child when she’s old enough to understand. . .
Keep silence in our hearts, or do something practical – donate to Yushu. I hope no one will misappropriate disaster relief funds and supplies!

Yes, I hope the funds are used for their intended purpose. When the Wenchuan disaster struck, I was still in school; I donated 50 yuan. The 27 people in my class donated a total of over 600 yuan. I’m not sure whether the funds were delivered to the disaster area. Although not many, they were all students at that time. Show some appreciation!
