S7 300 cannot be connected

I would like to ask for advice: I am using a S7 315-2 PN/DP CPU with an Ethernet port, version V2.6.5. When configuring it via Ethernet, the SF light remains red regardless of anything; this is the case even when I only configure the power supply and the CPU, as the CPU in Step7 is still version V2.6. (It’s highly unlikely that I would get the power supply and CPU configuration wrong); I even removed all the other modules, and still got the configuration wrong. Then, the BF2 light above turns red once I unplug the Ethernet cable. Just connect it and it’ll be OK. With that SF light, it remained red even after I reset it manually; eventually, I went online in Step7, deleted all the blocks there that could be deleted, and only then did the SF light stop being red. Then I reconfigure it, and when I turn it off again it lights up – damn... what’s going on? I went ahead and deleted it again. After trying a few times, I found that the download wouldn’t proceed; it seemed to show some message saying that something hadn’t been established. And now, after unplugging the Ethernet cable, the BF2 light also doesn’t turn on; before, it would turn red when the device was disconnected. When manually resetting those BF1, BF2, and SF lights, they do not light up either; they only shine for a short while when the power is turned on again. The problem now is that it simply won’t connect, no matter what. The IP address and such will definitely remain the same as before; I haven’t changed anything else related to the interfaces either.
