What is the typical top pressure in a atmospheric distillation column? Urgent! I hope someone with more experience can give me some advice!

The atmospheric distillation column in our facility is used primarily to remove moisture from organic substances; the pressure at the top of the column is set at 107 Kpaa – generally, a pressure a few Kpaa higher than atmospheric pressure is sufficient to prevent negative pressure from forming at the top of the column, which could cause other gases to flow back into the distillation column.
Judging from the pressure drop at the bottom of the tower, there are also significant differences in the pressure drop of atmospheric-pressure towers; factors such as the type of tray, the composition of the material, and the amount of reflux can all cause variations in pressure and uneven pressure distribution; However, the pressure at the top of an atmospheric distillation column is lower than that at the bottom of the vessel, but higher than atmospheric pressure.
The question posed by the original poster isn’t very clear; it depends on what substance is involved. All the columns here use atmospheric pressure distillation, with column pressures ranging from 0.012 to 0.05 MPa

I think it depends on the process downstream of the vapor phase at the top of the distillation tower; as long as the pressure at the top of the tower remains positive, that’s sufficient. Generally, 50 Kpa is a good value. If the venting pressure of your non-condensable gas is high later on, the pressure at the top of your tower will be correspondingly higher
