Copper smelting – Flash blowing technology http://simg.sinajs.cn/blog7style/images/common/sg_trans.gif Tags: Flash blowing process control, Miscellaneous discussions on matte in flash blowing furnaces, Information on FCF furnace design: Reactor tower dimensions: diameter 4.3 meters, height 6 meters; The length, width, and height of the sedimentation tank are 19 meters, 5.5 meters, and 1.9 meters respectively. The diameter of the rising flue is 2.9 meters, with a height of 7 meters; the outlet at the connection point between the rising flue and the boiler is square in shape with sides of 2.3 meters. The matte nozzle is of the CJD type (produced by Outokumpu), with a capacity of 25~50 t/h. The reaction tower is equipped with three natural gas burners with a capacity of 200 Nm3/h (the oxygen concentration in the combustion air is maintained at over 35%). The sedimentation tank is equipped with 9 insulated natural gas burners, two slag outlets, and six copper outlets. The slag chute is equipped with copper cooling jackets; the slag is discharged into the water quenching system, and the granulated slag is returned to the flash melting furnace for use as a feed material. Copper flows directly into Anode Furnaces #1 and #2 via natural gas insulated chutes. II. Materials fed into the flash smelting furnace and reaction principle 1. Materials fed into the furnace 1) Copper matte powder: Obtained by water-quenching copper matte in a smelting furnace, followed by grinding and drying of the copper matte. Particle size requirement: More than 70% of the particles should have a size of less than 325 mesh ; Actual particle size: less than 100 mesh accounts for 0–5%, 100–200 mesh accounts for 30–45%, and 200–325 mesh and above account for 50–65%. Grade of matte fed into the furnace: designed at 68–72%, actual grade fed into the furnace: 66–75%. 2) Quicklime: processed on commission, with a calcium oxide content of around 90%, and specific particle size requirements

Good material indeed; worth collecting, really. Thank you for providing it.
Very good material, thank you for providing it.
I’m very grateful for such excellent resource sharing.
Very detailed, based on practice, for practice! Very helpful
