Cavitation in water ring vacuum pumps

Water ring vacuum pumps generate a lot of noise during operation; it’s probably cavitation. If so, how can this phenomenon be controlled? What is the difference between the sealing water used while driving and the water volume used during operation? Thank you all, haha
Sounds similar to blade vibration are caused by cavitation. Generally, there is a small hole at the inlet of the vacuum pump to prevent backflow; a small valve can be installed and adjusted to be slightly open. A water ring vacuum pump combined with an atmospheric jet pump will not experience cavitation.
