Issues in WIN7 in 2006

Why can’t I complete some options when using 2006 on WIN7? For example, for the reboiler of the tower, I wanted to select NONE, but after trying for a long time the field remained blank and I couldn’t make the selection. Could someone with experience advise me on how to resolve this issue? Or it would be good if those who have successfully run 2006 on WIN7 could share their experience. I am extremely grateful~~
My system is Windows 7; I previously installed 2006 and everything installed smoothly. But when trying to use it later, unfortunately, there were indeed some options that couldn’t be selected – I couldn’t even select the Base Method

It’s a version issue; v7.1 works well on Win7, except there’s a black frame in front of the clock display……
I encountered the same problem and couldn’t solve it, so I switched to V7.1. I recommend installing v7 or v7.1
My computer has Windows 7; ASPEN v7.1 can be installed and run there, but there is a black frame in front of the tree-shaped table.

Some functions of Aspen2006 indeed cannot be used on Win7; I encountered the same problem. A higher version such as v7.1 or v7.2 must be installed~
