During the operation of the vaporization furnace, if there are fluctuations in one of the three burners out of two, how can this be addressed (while ruling out instrument-related issues)? If there is a problem with the burner, how long can it continue to operate despite this issue, and what precautions should be taken?
Has the cause of that fluctuation been identified? If the fluctuations are not due to instrument measurement faults, then there must be some cause for them. For example, a decline in the heat exchange efficiency of the burner cooling water heat exchanger can lead to a high temperature of the burner cooling water exiting the burner.
Which parameter fluctuates in the three-out-of-two interlock? How large is the range of fluctuations? What is the interlock value? If there is indeed a problem with the burner, it shouldn’t be just one parameter that shows fluctuations

In the two-out-of-three selection, the inlet flow is subject to interlock; although the outlet flow is not subject to interlock, it can be compared with the inlet flow. If both the inlet and outlet flows increase or decrease by the same amount, it indicates that there is no problem with the instruments; otherwise, there is an issue. . . It is still better to consider using a heat exchanger, as the pressure of the cooling water for the burner is higher than that of the circulating water; if there is a leak in the tube side, it can also cause fluctuations in the flow rate of the cooling water for the burner.

It's better to make it clear so as to make a better judgment. If one flow meter malfunctions, it should not be a problem; it’s a choice of three. If two flow meters fail, then first, the flow rate will be low, and second, the variation in flow rate will also be significant. I’m not sure to what extent the flow rate is reduced. If it’s a temperature issue, then the system won’t shut down, as the flow rate is fine.
Manual analysis of CO leaks should be carried out regularly, in conjunction with online analyzers, in order to monitor leaks at the burners and prevent the situation from worsening effectively. Personally, I recommend that once such problems occur, the equipment should be stopped immediately and the burners replaced to avoid unnecessary accidents that could result in greater financial losses.
