Hello everyone: The steam pipeline used for heating, as designed in Luchita, and the pipeline that connects to the synthesis tower at the middle of the steam ejector, experience pipeline vibration during the initial stage of heating. Please discuss why (This problem exists in many factories.) How can it be avoided?
It’s probably because the heating of the pipes wasn’t done properly; the temperature of the equipment was too low while driving, so steam was released in large quantities, causing localized overheating and resulting in pipe vibration.
Is it due to insufficient heating of the pipes, uneven heating, or slight water hammer effects?
This phenomenon is normal; at the beginning of the heating process, less steam is used, and the accumulation of liquid when it meets the boiler water causes noise.
This phenomenon occurs in the early stages of driving, due to a large temperature difference between steam and water; the temperature of the water does not rise sufficiently, and instead it is the flow of both steam and water phases within the pipes that causes this issue.
It has also happened in our factory before; generally, it didn’t work well right after it was put into use, with constant echoes. Neither too much nor too little volume worked properly. Additionally, if we stopped using it for a while and then started using it again, it would be very noisy. We thought there might be a problem with the internal gaps, so we stopped using it after that and gave up on it
It’s probably liquid hammer; with more insulation pipes, this issue shouldn’t occur
